Baller baby alert!

Ashanti and hubby Nelly are officially parents together! The 43-year-old songstress and 49-year-old rapper just announced the birth of their son, who was born one month ago.

The couple welcomed their baby boy, Kareem Kenkaide Hayes, into the world on July 18, 2024. A rep for the couple told PEOPLE, “The proud and happy parents are so in love with KK!”

Wednesday, Ashanti shared a carousel photo and clip on Instagram, showing off her post-baby body just four weeks after giving birth.

“Four weeks postpartum. You have no idea what this body can do,” Ashanti said in the clip.

This exciting chapter comes after the couple rekindled their relationship in 2023, a surprise move that even caught them off guard. Nelly opened up about their reunion during an interview on the Boss Moves with Rasheeda show, saying, “It wasn’t planned, but being apart made us realize what we truly mean to each other.”

Nelly, who is already a father to son Cornell III, 25, and daughter Chanelle, 30, has embraced fatherhood once again. He’s also been a father figure to his niece Sydney and nephew Shawn, whom he helped raise after the tragic passing of his sister, Jackie Donahue, in 2005.
