Victoria Monét has returned with another breathtaking visual and her fans are going up for it. 

The singer unveiled the video for “Alright,” the latest single from her debut studio album, “Jaguar II.” In Monét’s latest creation, the singer showcases her crisp dance moves, with references to Michael Jackson, notably his “Smooth Criminal” ensemble, and ballroom culture, with several elements of vogue sprinkled throughout. Legendary choreographer Sean Bankhead took the reins on the Dave Meyers-directed project, which was shot with a backdrop of blue and silver hues. 

Given that there are several tracks vying for Song of the Summer, “Alright“ being released as a single comes right on time. Monét, with an unmatched pen and ear for music, chose one of the standouts on her Grammy-award winning album.  The video for “Alright“ does a great job of matching the dance beat with the flawless moves displayed by Monét and her crew of performers. 

Needless to say, social media is certain that Victoria Monét has another hit on her hand, but can it live up to her “On My Mama“ video, which has amassed over 57 million views? We believe so!
