AG Radio Welcome to the best night of your life
Team USA has shown a roller coaster of consistency so far in track and field. In terms of individual medals, Team USA has not had the ideal success that fans expected. However, two-time gold medalist sprinter Gabby Thomas is ready to add two more Olympic medals to her resume. She ran in the semifinal for the 200 meters on Monday and achieved one of the most impressive times in her career.
She qualified for the finals this week with a speedy 21.86, coming in first place. An impressive sprint, as seen below. However, Thomas is much more than just an Olympian sprinter.
If Gabby Thomas ran 21.86 that easily in the 200m semis…what’s she going to drop in the final?! #ParisOlympics

Thomas holds a degree in neurobiology from Harvard and a master’s in public health from the University of Texas. The Atlanta native is an avid philanthropist who loves to give back to her community and her second home in Austin, Texas.

An inspiration to many young girls who aspire to follow in her footsteps, Thomas will face off with Julien Alfred, who was recently crowned the fastest woman in the world after winning the first Olympic gold medal for her country of Saint Lucia.
Only one woman can take the crown.
The women’s 200 final will be very veryyy spicy!
